IEEE SCSETech Workshop

Date: December 3, 2026

Venue: Kellogg West Conference Center and Hotel, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, California

Workshop Scope

The IEEE SCSETech Workshop 2026 invites researchers and practitioners to deliver a presentation or tutorial revolving around Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Smart Connected Systems. The workshop is designed to highlight expert perspectives, hands-on experiences, and technical contributions that will be valuable to the IEEE SCSETech audience.

Call for Proposal

The workshop welcomes tutorial and research presentation proposal submission in one of two options: presentation or tutorial only and workshop paper with publication. As the workshop highlights hands-on experiences, proposals of a tutorial will be given higher preference.

Option 1: Presentation or tutorial only:

The speaker submits a one-page abstract (including references) to the EDAS system to propose a presentation or tutorial. The speaker will be able to present the proposed tutorial or research work once the abstract is accepted. For this submission option, the conference registration fee will be waived for one author. The abstract should be submitted to the Main Track of the EDAS system. The submitted abstract should clearly list the authors’ information, presentation/tutorial content, expected duration of the presentation/tutorial (ideally no more than 90 minutes), and the expected support from the workshop.

Option 2: Workshop paper with publication:

The speaker submits a full research paper to the EDAS system by following the conference Call for Paper. The paper will undergo a peer-review process as a regular conference submission. If the paper is accepted, the speaker will present the paper in the workshop, and the paper will be published in the conference proceedings through IEEE Xplore. For this option, the conference registration fee will not be waived. In this option, the authors should prepare the manuscript by following the IEEE SCSETech 2026 Call for Papers instructions. The manuscript should be submitted to one of the Five Tracks of the EDAS system. In addition, the manuscript should include a note that the paper is for the IEEE SCSETech Workshop.
